Hi Olukunle,

In this case, you can control the repair expense in Internal Order.

- If it's Statistical Internal Order, you should assign to real cost center, and you can not maintain the settlement rule in this order type.

- I think the better way is creating Real Internal Order.

Please follow the steps:

1. Create Real Internal Order via KS01 for each asset

In case if you want to capitalize full or partial repair expense, you can maintain settlement rule to settle to this asset.

2. Assign Internal Order to Asset via AS02 (in Time-dependence tab)

The dialog will appeared to ask whether you want to overwrite the existing time-dependent or create New time internal.

The best way to control asset is Create New time interval. Because in the future, you can have many repairment, and you can assign to many Internal Order in the diffirent time interval. By this way, you can control repair expense in each time you do.

3. Post expense in this Real Internal Order and check by standard report, like this:

When posting, you can use some field like Reference, Assignment or Text to fill your asset to double control the data.

After finished repairment, you should close this Internal order to prevent somebody post wrong data in there.

Hope it's helpful

Regards,

Julie
