In our project we have issues in COGI posting of Production order issue material shortage, to over come this, We have enabled the missing parts control.
After the control activated, system is checking the stock at the level of storage location only not at the level of valuation type. moreover valuation type is not getting defaulted in production order (since we have activated batch management, only batch field is there in production order BOM screen). We have already done the settings in split valuation to default the valuation type in production order. to summaries following questions request your help to answer.
1. Why Valuation type is not getting defaulted in the batch field (out of 4 BOM components only 1 material is batch enabled), Manually if we are trying to enter valuation type system is accepting in that batch field itself ------> Please clarify
----- any screen exit is available to retrieved the valuation type in production order BOM even though batch is enabled.
2. Why Production order missing parts is not considering the valuation type for material availability.
